Your hosts are Koos & Hester Conradie.

Hester and Lindalee

Both of us were born in lovely sunny South Africa where we have spend our childhood days.

We moved to Swaziland where Hester had her own 28-bedroom hotel (The Castle Hotel) and a guesthouse for 12-years while Koos enjoyed his Civil Engineering activities at all the major projects in Swaziland, including the prestigious Maguga Dam Project.

In September 2000 we decided to relocate to Europe with our 3-year old daughter. We had to stay for more than 9 months in the UK (The Midlands) while we waited for the Dutch residence permit process.

We eventually moved to Holland in September 2001 and in January 2002 we bought this house and converted it into a bed-and-breakfast with 5 guestrooms. DE OUDEWERF GASTENHUIS opened it doors in March 2002.

Hester runs DE OUDEWERF GASTENHUIS while Koos enjoys his Civil Engineering activities, this time mainly in the Telecom market.
